I’ve been breaking out the old note books and have re-discovered how I made depth of field in my original smoked glass drawings and not in post production . Either via old fashioned wet colour printing processes or digitally, with hi-res pigment printing, there is no post production here to create extra marks or effects such as depth blurring – just straight forward printing from drawings made on glass with carbon particulate. This is essentially and ANALOG process with the DIGITAL only at the end for print output.
