This image is one of a new series of anatomical studies where the subject is optically (not digitally) distorted in camera.

I  wanted to avert the eye away from this distortion by placing the leg in a hyper spacious sky-scape.

At first one sees the colour and the ‘realism’ but there is a subtle disturbance in the perspective and the vanishing point(s).
